Staying fit doesn’t have to be hard and the cities along Georgia’s Hospitality Highway have a roster of healthy dining options and fun fitness activities to help you meet all your fitness goals this year. From boutique fitness studios in Buckhead to winding mountain trails in Dahlonega getting fit is almost too easy on the Hospitality Highway.
BUCKHEAD

WHAT TO DO:
If you’re looking to add some variety to your workout routine, you’ll want to head to Buckhead! There is no shortage of boutique fitness studios for you to try in Buckhead. From SoulCycle located in the shops at Lenox to Barry’s Bootcamp in The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, there is something for everyone in Buckhead. For outdoor runners or walkers, you’ll love the newly opened PATH400. PATH400 runs along the spine of GA 400 and, once complete, will provide a 5.2-mile greenway through the heart of Buckhead.

Centrally located in the heart of Buckhead sits Café Sunflower. This celebrated vegan restaurant offers delicious plant-based foods as well as a hand-picked selection of fine wine and rotating craft beers. because it’s all about balance, right?
SANDY SPRINGS

WHAT TO DO:
With more than 950 acres of parks and natural areas, and 22 miles of Chattahoochee River shoreline, Sandy Springs is the perfect place to get outdoors and get active. Grab your furry four-legged friend and hike one of the three Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area trail units; Powers Island, East Palisades or Island Ford. Or, head over to the Steel Canyon Golf Club and give foot golf a try where par meets gooooooal.

Positive vibes radiate through this bright and airy restaurant and whether you’re craving tasty bowls, grains, greens and wraps or looking to refresh with flavored lemonades, kombucha or organic wine and beer, Flower Child will take you to a happy place.
ROSWELL

WHAT TO DO:
Roswell is always coming up with new ways for their residents and visitors to get active and have fun doing it. Grab your yoga mat and head to Gate City Brewing in Historic Downtown Roswell. You bring the mat and they bring the beer. Enjoy a 60-minute all-levels yoga class taught by a professional, in-house instructor followed by six 6oz pours of Gate City craft beer in a souvenir pint glass. The Big Creek Greenway in Alpharetta is where fitness meets wilderness! Bike, run or walk your way down the 8 miles of concrete trail that meanders along the Big Creek watershed parallel to North Point Parkway, from Windward Parkway at Marconi Drive on the north end to Mansell Road on the south end. A soft mulch trail encircles a large wetland between Haynes Bridge Road and Mansell Road. If you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of the wildlife such as blue heron, deer, ducks and Canada geese that can often be found in this preserved water setting.

For locally sourced, thoughtfully prepared food head straight to Farm to Ladle at Avalon in Alpharetta. The food at Farm to Ladle is exactly as the name suggests, straight from the farm to your table. Enjoy delicious soups and salads and locally sourced herbs and produce.

Take in the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains while hiking one of the many trails located in Dahlonega. Explore waterfalls and beautiful scenery at the DeSoto Falls Recreation Area. Located off Highway 129 just inside the National Forest boundary, the DeSoto Falls Recreation Area is a scenic spot with easy access for either a weekend of camping or a quick hike to the falls. There are two waterfalls which can be easily viewed along the DeSoto Falls trails.
