Natural habitat with hiking trails, interpretive exhibits, resource library/lounge, classroom and laboratory, rocking chair porch, native plant garden and water feature, tree house, tree canopy walk, playground, picnic pavilions, restrooms and amphitheater.
The Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center is located at 4075 Spot Road in Cumming. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday, 8:30a – 5:00p. Admission is free of charge. The Center features interactive exhibits on the natural and cultural histories of Sawnee Mountain and a resource library/lounge for visitors to relax and read. The classroom/laboratory is available for rental. For more information, please call 770-781-2217 between the hours of 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday.
