10The John Ripley Forbes Big Trees Forest
Big Trees Forest is a beautiful and unique, 30-acre Fulton County and Sandy Springs Forest Preserve. It is designed and managed as a relaxing visual, mental and spiritual oasis in a protected tree, plant and wildlife sanctuary. 6Chattahoochee River
Three National Park Sites offer a chance to get in touch with the great outdoors. Wildlife viewing sites, primitive boating launch ramps, hiking, picnicking and fishing. 678-538-1200

Town Turtles
These whimsically painted and themed turtles designed by local artist, Jack Elrod, are 56 inches tall by 49 inches wide and are on many Sandy Springs street corners and around local shopping areas throughout the city. 9Abernathy Arts Center
The Abernathy Arts Center is the area’s oldest neighborhood arts center and is located at the corner of Abernathy and Johnson Ferry Roads. 254 Johnson Ferry Rd., 404-303-6172

8Anne Frank Exhibit
