Each exit along the Hospitality Highway allows you to embark on a journey of good manners, resplendent natural beauty and exceptional experiences in each of the seven distinctive communities found beyond the off-ramp. With its welcome mat unfurling along the 55 miles of scenic Georgia 400, the Hospitality Highway encompasses Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Cumming/Forsyth, Dawsonville and Dahlonega, stretching from North Fulton County in metro Atlanta to Lumpkin County in the North Georgia Mountains.

At each turn along the way, there is a raft of reasons to stop and smell the roses—wine, too: outdoor recreation at Amicalola Falls State Park, the Chattahoochee National Forest, the Chattahoochee River, the trailhead to the Appalachian Trail, wildlife preserves, wildly beautiful naturescapes and swatches of green in urban settings; heritage sites, including antebellum house museums and memorial tributes; shopping at one-of-a-kind retail destinations where you can find everything from art to antiques to American Girl dolls; sampling and sipping at inventive eateries and outstanding wineries; and surprising discoveries—from one historic downtown to another—that include everything from 300 bouncing kangaroos to “Indian Seats” overlooking the Atlanta skyline to music ranging from Appalachian to symphonic to theatres staging award-winning productions, Broadway musicals, edgy dramas and knee-slapping comedies—even a place to fine-tune your off-road skills.
